March Community Class with Tonie Warner
March 4 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am UTC-5

Mark your calendars for Tonie’s Community Class!
Fortifying our Roots
Saturday, March 4, 2023
10:00-11:15am EST
Black History Month invited the broader collective to a history of the United States. Individually, we are reminded of our lineage, legacy and lessons and hopes for the future. In this community practice, we open space to fortify our root systems, adding to it what we want to create and steward forward for our future collective history and for our individual journeys.
Inquiry will be accompanied by Yoga Asana, with special attention to grounding through the feet, legs and hips. Practice will wind down through longer restorative holds before final rest.
This class is open to all practice levels and everyone willing to compound their individual practice in community.
Props are not required but two blocks or books and a blanket are recommended to have as support.
The class will be live on Zoom and will include a 48-hour replay if you can’t attend live.
Each month, we offer a free class to our community. We are committed to making our offerings accessible while also paying our teachers for their labor and expertise. These classes are made possible by our patrons and donors. You may take this class at no charge or by making a donation. Please see both options below.
