Calming & Cooling
Forward bending asana has the effect of calming the mind and the body. Energetically it has a cooling quality as well. Forward bending poses can sometimes be intimidating, but there is a myriad of ways of practicing that don’t require being a gymnast to give that effect.
Join Sangeeta in a forward bending asana practice, where we’ll begin with a warm-up and modified Surya Namaskar. We’ll move and hold poses – we’ll definitely use props.
Recommended props: 2 blocks, a strap, scarf or belt, 1-2 blankets, bolster or a pillow
The class will be live on Zoom and will include a 48-hour replay if you can’t attend live.
