Integrating yoga, somatics, restorative techniques, and meditation, Jocelyn’s classes teach the fundamentals of yoga asana and how to thoroughly prepare your body to practice with grace. Through pranayam, soft tissue massage, introspection, and physical observation, you’ll learn to stabilize your nervous system so you can create the strength necessary to be of good service to your health, communities, and work.

- Jocelyn’s live classes are typically held on Mondays 6:30-7:30pm, Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm, and Saturdays 11-12:15 pm EST

We believe in honoring the value of teaching and offering a practice that is accessible. Our tiered pricing system is self-determined. In deciding which price feels most appropriate to you, consider your social location (proximity to power and privilege), so that we can collectively move towards equity. If you are relatively stable financially, please pay the standard price. If you need to pay less for any reason, we encourage you to pay the community price.
Restorative Yoga, Strength, Introspection
The Connective’s commitment to making mindful movement more accessible to all students, their support of diversity, and endeavors to help teachers earn a sustainable wage are why I joined this community.
In my classes, I focus on creating a space where students can explore conscious and creative movement in a supportive environment. We build strength, mobility, and endurance while enhancing the parasympathetic nervous system response through yogic techniques, soft-tissue massage, and meditation. I endeavor to be attentive to each student and honor their reason for practicing.
Sometimes Penny and Peach, my cats, join our practice for a stretch and roll. They are the most relaxed creatures I know.
