Being part of The Connective for me is mainly all about community. A community with like-minded individuals, sharing many of the same goals, ideals, directives, compassions, and dreams; however, each individual showing upon their own, displaying their unique directions and individuality.

I came into Yoga seeking a physical practice but shortly realized that there was much more to it. I realized that this is a practice that can better improve the comprehension of my mental and physical self. With this realization, I dedicated my practice not to just myself but others in my community. My goal is to bring Yoga and Mindfulness to underserved communities, as I believe it’s a powerful tool for everyone.

My current practice consists of mindful-based vinyasa movements, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Reiki, Aromatherapy, and Herbalism. I invite folks to engage in self-inquiry, observation, noticing, acknowledging, and finally, perhaps appreciating the experiences, whether it’s physical, emotional, or spiritual.

It all realized for me once I noticed the positive impact in my community of practitioners and students; sharing these practices taught to me to those who received and needed it, is pivotal in my desire to continue processing and sharing this work.
